My name is John King, and I minister to the youth at Agape.  I grew up in the Pinson area and left home for college in 1996 after a year at Samford University.  I graduated from Bible College in 2000 and have been in youth ministry since 1997 when I was in college.  After about five years in the Ashland area of Northeastern Kentucky, my wife and I returned home to Alabama, and we were led to Agape Baptist church. 

My passion for the past 10 years has been working with students of all ages.  I love seeing students who are passionately on fire for God, who stand up and tell the world about their Savior, who love as they have been loved. 

 I am married to Angela, my high school sweetheart.  We will celebrate our eighth year together this year in June.  We have dated each other since 1993, making our relationship 14 years old.  I say dated, because we do have the occasional date without our children.  Speaking of children, I have a beautiful daughter, Laney Paige, who is three years old, and a strong, handsome son, Clayton, who is one year old.

 I enjoy spending time with my family, listening to music, especially Johnny Cash and Bob Dylan, and pretty much anything else, meeting students on myspace, emailing friends, working around the house, fixing things that are broken, but most of all I love Jesus.
