Proverbs 27:17 - As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another

At Agape we believe that God never intended Christians to take the journey of life alone. All of us need the encouragement that can come from the strength of a loving Christian community. Too often we try to build and foster relationships with others in the few moments we have before and after a corporate worship service. But to really encourage one another requires we spend genuine time together discussing our lives, our victories, our problems, and our true source of strength. Christ is the most valuable treasure that anyone can have, and we need to remind each other of that truth in a real and loving way. Our close connection with each other helps to propel us toward a closer relationship with our Lord.

Our Agape family believes the way we can truly connect with one another is through our small group ministry. The makeup of the groups has ranged from those meeting at church on Sunday morning, to groups that meet at someone's home on a Monday night. The purpose is the same, to move closer to God and to each other. These groups often serve as small families that love and serve one another through the good days, and the times when life is more difficult.

God is continuing to lead us as we develop this ministry and we anticipate exciting changes in the future. Currently we have several small groups to choose from on Sunday mornings beginning at 9:40am, including a small group for men, a group for women, a couples group and a children's group. We also have a ladies group that is currently meeting at our church on Wednesday nights at 7pm. There will be more groups developing in the days ahead, but we want you to do more than just read about it. We invite you to come to Agape, experience it for yourself...Get Connected!
