Angel Food Ministries was founded in 1994 as as outreach to a small community in Georgia. The aim of the ministry was simple: to help neighbors who were struggling financially by providing them with low cost, quality groceries. Today, Angel Food Ministries partners with churches and community organizations all over the country. The ministry now reaches over 3,200 communities in 36 states and helps to provide food for over 500,000 families per month. Angel Food is a non-denominational and non-profit ministry that has the goal of spreading the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ at the heart of each food order.            Agape Baptist Church became a host site for Angel Food Ministries in the Fall of 2008. For as little as $30.00 you can receive a box of food containing both fresh and frozen items. The food is top quality and there are no restrictions on who can order. To place an order, simply follow these instructions:

1. View this month's menu options below.

2. Send an e-mail to missionsdirector@agapepinson.com with the following information:

    a. Your full name

    b. A contact number

    c. Your order for this month

    Our missions director, or someone from the missions team, will contact you to review the order
    and make arrangements to get the payment. The money must be received by Agape before the
    order can be placed.

3. Make payment to Agape prior to the monthly deadline.

4. Come to Agape to pick up your food on the distribution day for the month.

Sweet 'n Sour Chicken: Slow-Cooked Chicken Chunks served in a Sweet 'n Sour Sauce over Steamed Rice. Steamed Broccoli with Mushroom Pieces accompanied by Wax Beans.

Spaghetti with Meat Sauce: Spaghetti Noodles served with a Rich Traditional Italian Meat Sauce, Seasoned Italian Green Beans, Diced Pears and an Oatmeal Cookie.

Chili Con Carne: Chili Con Carne with Ground Beef served with Elbow Macaroni, Carrot Coins and Beets with Onions.
